The wedding of Mr Raffle to Miss Ruffle

3pm

St John the Baptist Church

A small village in Northamptonshire

84... It was 2.45pm and the bells were calling all the guests to Church . Everything was prepared for one of the biggest weddings  of the year. The wedding was set for 3pm on the dot. As yet there was no sign of Miss Ruffle, but now Raffles and the congregation were waiting patiently in the pretty country church. The sun was shining and the skies were Blue, the perfect day. Toddimus Truffle had landed just 24 hours ago and had stayed with his daughter on the eve of the wedding, He had to make sure that everything was perfect for her day. He had his best suit and had polished his boots, now it was time, time to go.

85... At 2.50pm  Footman Ben appeared, pulling a beautiful old cart with the Bride to be and her bridesmaids on board  and of course TODDIMUS TRUFFLE! He had made it just in time.   86... The little Church was a picture, Toddimus and Ruffle felt so happy to be walking the red carpet together after all these years. Toddimus took his daughters paw in his hand,. he was so very very proud and of course honoured to be giving his daughters paw in marriage. He could not believe how like her mother she was and how beautiful she had become. He felt rather emotional but managed to keep his head as Ruffle too was nervous, her paw was shaking.

87... They posed for the photographer and Miss Ruffle looked totally adorable in her Victorian lace wedding gown and stunning veil. The daisy bouquet was so simple but stylish.  What a picture! The sun shone through the bell tower window and the organist began to play..

88... The wedding party moved into the church, Miss Ruffle being led by Toddimus, followed by Miss Maud and Waffle her bridesmaids and Alfie the little Page boy in his superb tail coat.

Hovis the best man had forgotten that the should really be with Raffle, he had the rings, his speech,  but no clue what he should be doing or where to do it! Oh Hovis...
